Alice as illustrated by John Tenniel.

Alice is a fictional character created by Lewis Carroll in the literary classic, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel, Through the Looking-Glass. She is a young girl from Victorian era Britain. Alice is popularly depicted wearing a pale blue knee-length dress with a white pinafore over-top. The story is that, while sitting on the riverbank with her sister, Alice notices a talking, clothed White Rabbit with a pocket watch run past. She follows it, only to fall down a rabbit hole and into Wonderland, where she meets and interacts with the inhabitants of Wonderland. In the end, just as she is to be executed by the Queen of Hearts, she is woken up by her sister for tea. She then leaves her sister on the bank to wonder about what happened.
