A curious character who lives by the motto that "Ninjas shouldn't have to hide themselves!" Despite being usually skilled, Jiraiya thinks that a ninja's arts are a waste of time, and generally prefers to take on his enemies directly. He believes in nothing but his own sense of justice, and will never get involved in something he believes to be unjust. One of Jiraiya's special talents is the ability to summons a giant toad. Despite all this, however, he remains no match for Tsunade.
