A trident is a three-pronged spear. It is used for spear fishing and was also a military weapon. Tridents are featured widely in mythical, historical, and modern culture. The Greco-Roman sea god Poseidon or Neptune and the major Hindu god, Shiva the Destroyer, are classically depicted bearing a trident. Tridents can be distinguished by pitchforks in that the latter is an agricultural tool with two or six prongs which are shaped in a way that they can be used to lift and pitch loose material.

Trident's owner is most likely Poseidon, or Neptune, mainly because of the name of his skill. Poseidon is one of the twelve Olympian deities of the pantheon in Greek mythology. His main domain is the ocean, and he is called the "God of the Sea". Additionally, he is referred to as "Earth-Shaker" due to his role in causing earthquakes, and has been called the "tamer of horses". He is usually depicted as an older male with curly hair and beard.
